Celebrate the 7th edition of the “Women, Equality, Realities” festival, hosted by the MJC of Chamonix! Join us for an inspiring exhibition, “Women of Past Centuries,” by the talented painter Marie Morel. This captivating showcase features a remarkable painting stretching over 21 meters, portraying over a hundred forgotten women who significantly contributed to society.

Marie Morel aims to convey a humanist and feminist message through her art, bringing attention to the lives and achievements of these overlooked women. The exhibition, organised in collaboration with the Chamonix Media Library, will be displayed from November 25 to December 9, 2023.

The grand opening is on Saturday, November 25, at 6 p.m. at the Chamonix Media Library, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet the artist herself. This event is free for all to attend.

Don’t miss the chance to rediscover the stories of these remarkable women during the exhibition, open during Media Library hours: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Your presence will contribute to honouring the legacy of these forgotten heroines.
