Excited for the Tibetan New Year? 🎉 Join us for a weekend filled with celebrations organized by the Lions des Neiges Mont Blanc association in Servoz from February 23 to 25.

Here’s what we’ve got planned:

🎥 Film Screenings and Activities:

  • Friday, February 23: Sand mandala creation, documentary screenings, discussions, and a presentation on Tibetan medicine.
  • Saturday, February 24: Film screening “Je reviendrai danser sur les dunes” followed by a discussion, and a “Losar Concert” featuring traditional Tibetan singer Gazom Lhamo.
  • Sunday, February 25: Screening of “Les enfants du Tibet” with the presence of the director, and a sand mandala dissolution ceremony.

📚 Other Activities:

  • Throughout the weekend: Various film screenings including documentaries on Tibetan culture, massage sessions, singing bowl workshops, meditation sessions, and more.
  • Book exchange corner for book lovers!

“Le Prénom” is a play created in 2010 starring Patrick Bruel, Valérie Benguigui, Jean-Michel Dupuis, Guillaume de Tonquédec and Judith El Zein. It was first performed at the Théâtre Edouard VII in Paris in 2010.

Vincent is about to become a father for the first time. Invited to dinner at the home of Élisabeth and Pierre, his sister and brother-in-law, he reunites with Claude, a childhood friend. While awaiting the arrival of Anna, his eternally late wife, he is pressed with questions about his impending fatherhood, all in good spirits… But when Vincent is asked if he has already chosen a name for his unborn child, his answer plunges the family into chaos.
