Saturday is family day! Join a guided tour where you can observe the cheese dairy, sheep herd, lambs, and guard dogs. Dive into the wool workshop at the heart of the farm, and don’t miss the cheese tasting session!

🐑 Reservation Required: Saturdays from 10 am to 11:30 am Come and observe the cheese dairy, the sheep herd, their lambs, and the guard dogs. Then, experience milking with Heidi, our wooden sheep. You’ll receive detailed explanations about Chamonix’s agricultural history and the milk and wool transformation process. Leave with a small creation and enjoy a mini-tasting that will tempt you to visit our cheese shop on-site!

Tibetan New Year Celebration in Servoz: Film Screenings and More Fun Activities Every Day!

Hey everyone!

Excited for the Tibetan New Year? 🎉 Join us for a weekend filled with celebrations organized by the Lions des Neiges Mont Blanc association in Servoz from February 23 to 25.

Here’s what we’ve got planned:

🎥 Film Screenings and Activities:

  • Friday, February 23: Sand mandala creation, documentary screenings, discussions, and a presentation on Tibetan medicine.
  • Saturday, February 24: Film screening “Je reviendrai danser sur les dunes” followed by a discussion, and a “Losar Concert” featuring traditional Tibetan singer Gazom Lhamo.
  • Sunday, February 25: Screening of “Les enfants du Tibet” with the presence of the director, and a sand mandala dissolution ceremony.

📚 Other Activities:

  • Throughout the weekend: Various film screenings including documentaries on Tibetan culture, massage sessions, singing bowl workshops, meditation sessions, and more.
  • Book exchange corner for book lovers!

🍽️ Food:

As part of the “Remballe ta haine!” festival organized by the Chamonix, MJC joined this theatre production for adolescent kids. GRAND PAYS is a fantasy fiction inspired by the trials of Cédric Herrou and the events that unfolded in the Roya Valley.

Children’s Spectacle – Melodic Tales for Kids Ages 2 and Up.

Immerse your little ones in a world of vibrant stories accompanied by joyous melodies—one set in Mali, the other in Brazil. These tales explore life, touching nature, human values, and ecology. The narratives aim to raise awareness about sustainable development, urging us to alter our habits to preserve our planet.

Meet Mamilo, a singing and musical mermaid who rescues a struggling Malian turtle trapped in plastic. Through her journey, she encounters pollution and presents a personal and poetic solution to recycle waste. On the other side, Tartaruga, a virtuoso turtle in the Amazon rainforest, plays the violin named Rebecca. Despite facing threats from a human intending to consume her, Tartaruga’s cleverness and the power of music come to her rescue.
