MANNY presents a unique blend of original compositions paired with reimagined covers (Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones, U2, Noir Désir, Raphaël…) within a lively and danceable atmosphere. The performance offers a dynamic interplay of energy, sensitivity, and humour.

Swiss-born singer-songwriter Thierry Gaillard founded the ensemble MANNY in 2013, crafting a dynamic fusion of authentic French Chanson and Folk-rock. With an indescribable artistic style, Thierry G’s realm resonates with an exceptional poetic intensity. His finely crafted lyrics oscillate between candid, pointed, tender, and amusing, exploring our journeys and imperfect beauties. The intimate melodies alternate with vibrant and diverse rhythms that “effortlessly conjure a festival vibe” (Bettina Diercks, Kreiszeitung, Germany). The artist’s original verses harmoniously intermingle with renowned covers infused with the distinctive Manny touch (Bob Dylan, Noir Désir, Leonard Cohen, Eric Clapton, U2, Stones). “At times, it’s as if he had breakfast with Bob Dylan” (O.Gfeller, Omnibus newspaper). Having released four albums of original tracks and embarked on eight international tours, this Franco-Swiss ensemble has graced numerous stages across Europe, particularly in Germany, where they are affectionately known as “Le Poète Rock”.
