But here’s the twist! The shack are taking the celebrations to new heights by adding a touch of Limbo to the mix. How low can you go? Limbo your way through history and indulge in an evening filled with French-inspired delights, fantastic music, and good vibes. 🎶🍷

Got the day off on Friday? Thursday is the day to REVOLT in Cham Sud with all the bars and locals coming together for a fun family evening out:

This weekend, the French community will come together for a series of festive events to celebrate Bastille Day, also known as the French National Day. This significant holiday, observed on the 14th of July each year, commemorates the storming of the Bastille prison in 1789, a pivotal moment during the French Revolution.

➡️Mara From 2 PM to 4 PM, indulge in the captivating sounds of pop-jazz-soul performed by Mara.

➡️Juke Joints Starting at 8:30 PM and lasting until late in the evening, Juke Joints will take the stage, filling the warm summer air with their energetic music

🍔Throughout the day they will be serving a delightful assortment of carnivorous treats with vegan alternatives PLUS🍹Quench your thirst with a variety of refreshing Mojitos, with three different flavors to choose from!

Tuesdays open your week with the Chambre Neuf open mic night hosted by Mara, and then as it comes to a close allow DJ Nubium with his unique percussion looping accompaniments to vibe you into weekend mode every Thursday – remember if the weekday is a T-Day sunset sessions are ON at Chambre Neuf, either out on the terrace of inside in case of bad weather:

Once again, the Petite Université is setting up at the Chamonix Youth Hostel to organise its fantastic end-of-year party, which will take place on Wednesday 12th July at 6:30 PM.

Regular attendees will not be surprised to find the usual festive formula: a review of the past year, a presentation of the upcoming year’s program, a quiz with prizes to be won, refreshments and snacks, and finally: a small concert to wrap things up!

Here’s a rough breakdown of the schedule:
6:30 PM: Arrival
7:00 PM: Review of the past year and presentation of the upcoming year’s program.
7:30 PM: A game to win incredible prizes (as usual: course registrations, memberships, books, and sports equipment)
8:30 PM: Well-deserved break, continue with drinks. Those who want something more substantial can order food directly at the hostel’s bar.
9:00 PM: Let the music begin (more details to come!).

The Petite Université will provide soft drinks and appetisers, and the hostel will provide punch. Of course, you can also order whatever you like from the hostel’s bar.

It’s time onece again to plan for and celebrate the national day of France, imagine the 4th of July for Americans but with wine instead of beer and some gourmet food instead of hot-dogs PLUS DJ Kenzie on the 1s and 2s to keep your toes tapping all night long.
